Creepy Smiles

ItÕs no big secrete around these parts that I hate the cold! Motorcycle & Mountain Biking racing has defiantly left its mark on this body and when out in the cold, it just plain hurts. I know, I know - why the heck did I move to Colorado? Well, you see I love the mountains more than I hate the cold, and with Colorado winters typically being short - itÕs not a bad place to live. So during these cold snaps, I like to hit the local Òindoor attractionsÓ - but we all do that. However, I like to hit the little gems that most folks donÕt think about - the grocery store provides for some great macro of fruits & veggies, the local nursery is awesome for the botanists looking for some color in the dead of winter, and for some live entertainment there is the local pet stores! This weekend we hit a reptile shop called Scales N Tails. We made many friends on our visit, but this guy just couldnÕt seem to keep his eye off me - I think he likes me, but the creepy smile gives me the feeling that friendship & relationship building is not whatÕs on his mind!He was on a tank that was inundated with algae and the think green nasty water made it very difficult to get a good shot. I used a 60mm macro right up on the glass and I bounced the flash off the back black wall. Under the circumstances, I think I got about as best of a shot as was possible.
